With a biology major, he continued onto graduate studies at UCLA, and then entered prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in 1994. He furthered his education, returning to UCLA, with an three-year specialty residency training program in periodontics and implant surgery.
