A manufactured home is better known by names like mobile home, double-wide, or trailer. It is built in a factory and trucked to a homesite, just like a modular home, but that's where the similarity ends.

UV filters are practically useless (image-wise) on DSLRs since digital sensors are not nearly as sensitive to UV light as film. So don't spend $150 on a "premium UV filter" if you're shooting digital. Just grab a $20 one off amazon and use it as a lens protector. 

Manufactured homes and mobile homes are both regulated by HUD, the Housing and Urban Development division of the federal government. According to HUD, a factory-built home prior to June 15, 1976 is a mobile home and one built after June 15, 1976 is a manufactured home.

The two types of cables used for the installation of Security Cameras and Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) are Plug and Play Cables (PnP) and RG59 Coax Siamese cable. Each type of Camera Cable has positives and negatives about them which is disussed below.

Singlewide homes are shipped as one unit on one semi-trailer. Doublewide homes start at around 1,067 square feet and go up to 2,300 square feet. Doublewide homes have a width of 20 feet or more and their length is 90 feet or less. They most often measure 56 feet long by 26 feet wide with a square footage of 1,456.

Some digital cameras can adjust for lens focal problems. Sometimes the focus was sharp enough but other times, especially at f/2.8 (limited depth of field) the shots were soft. This was a film camera and no local calibration was possible.
