  Dr. Kamen is one of the most skilled eye surgeons in Beverly Hills and has performed more than 20,000 successful eye surgeries. He currently sees patients at Beverly Hills Eye Center and was recently selected by Americas Best Doctors as a Top Ophthalmologist representing Los Angeles, California, in 2021. This inclusion is for physicians who have upheld the highest standards in patient care while empowering advancement and opportunity in the medical community.  After attending Brooklyn College and being at the top of his class for his undergraduate studies, Dr. Kamen received a full scholarship to attend medical school at the State University of New York (SUNY), where he received his medical doctorate. He then finished a year of internship in internal medicine with another three years in ophthalmology residency at SUNY. Afterward, Dr. Kamen went to Miami for two years of fellowship in one of the busiest practices in the country. His fellowship studies focused on the anterior segment surgery of the eye. Dr. Kamen performed about 45 cataracts, glaucoma, and cornea transplant surgeries per day to reinforce his education. He was chosen as Americas Top Ophthalmologist in the area of cataract surgery by the Consumers Research Council of America for 2004-2005. Dr. Kamen is one of the partners at the Specialty Surgical Center in Beverly Hills, where he performs most of his surgeries. He is also an active member of the medical staff and performs surgeries at the Southern California Hospital at Culver City. Dr. Kamen also speaks Farsi and Spanish to better serve his patients.

Dr. Powell graduated from California State University, Sacramento where he received the Dean's Award as one of the top twelve graduating seniors. He completed medical school at UCLA, where he earned the Ranson J. Arthur Award for Scholarship and Humanism in the Practice of Medicine. After medical school, Dr. Powell completed his pediatric residency at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, where he received both the Cedar-Sinai Neonatology Award and the Riggler Award for the Outstanding Resident. He went on to be Chief of Service for the House Based Pediatric Program at Huntington Memorial Hospital before entering private practice in 1995. His most recent awards include Patient's Choice Award, "One of the Nation's Top Doctors" in US News and World Report, the Castle Connolly's Top Doctors award and Compassionate Doctor recognition award. He is a past-president of the Los Angeles Pediatric Society and served as vice chair and chairman of the department of Pediatrics at Huntington Memorial Hospital for eight years. Dr. Powell is fluent in Portuguese and an avid traveler.

To date, GymJam Foundation has donated over $40,000 to various groups including American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Camp del Corazon, Carousel Ranch and Santa Clarita?s Child and Family Center Foundation. In addition, through GymJam Foundation?s fundraising efforts, upgrades in facility and equipment have been provided to Wallers? GymJam Academy in order to train its athletes to the highest levels. In doing so, Wallers? GymJam Academy has sent over 20 athletes on to compete for Universities, both walk-on and full-ride athletic scholarship positions, produced five World Titles, dozens of National and Regional Champions and hundreds of State Champions.
