Gregory P. Fontana, MD is an international leader in cardiothoracic surgery, whose primary professional focus has been on less invasive approaches to the treatment of structural heart disease. He previously served as Managing Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute and Chairman of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, Vice Chairman of Surgery and attending cardiac surgeon at Cedars Sinai Medical Center's Heart Institute in Los Angeles and as Clinical Professor of Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Fontana has been a pioneer and principal investigator for several minimally invasive approaches in cardiac surgery involving transcatheter valve therapies and minimally invasive surgical procedures for congenital and acquired heart disease. Among many others, he has been a principal investigator in the Partner Trial of transcatheter aortic valve implantation, the CoreValve Pivotal trial, the Medtronic Low-Risk TAVR Trial, and the Perceval trial of sutureless aortic valves, and is currently the national principal investigator for the St. Jude Transcatheter Portico Valve IDE Pivotal trial. As a widely published researcher and author, Dr. Fontana's contributions to medical literature includes more than 150 academic citations including articles, book chapters and reviews.

Dr. William May is Clinical Director of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and the Director of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Section of the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at The David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He has been board certified in Pediatric Hematology Oncology since 1992. Dr. May earned his Bachelor's degree at the University of California Davis and his MD from the Saint Louis University School of Medicine. His Pediatric Internship was at UCLA and he completed his residency years at UCSF. His Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship was at UCLA. Prior to his present appointment, Dr. May held a faculty position at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and the Children's Hospital of Alabama from 1996-2003. From 2003-2016, he was on faculty at the Keck School of Medicine at USC and on staff at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. May's clinical interests are in Hematologic Malignancies of Childhood and Adolescence. He is UCLA Principal Investigator for the Children's Oncology Group (COG). He is responsible for the conduct of COG clinical trials at UCLA.

Dr. Sara Hogan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained medical and cosmetic dermatologist who practices in Santa Monica. Her clinical interests include laser surgery, burn scars, hair loss disorders, autoimmune connective tissue disease and ethnic skin care. She has expertise in a variety of cosmetic procedures including neuromodulator (Botox) and soft tissue filler injections (Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma, Belotero, Sculptra) for facial lines and volume loss. She also performs sclerotherapy for veins, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, fractionated laser treatments and laser skin resurfacing to treat sun damage, rosacea, scarring, wrinkles, acne and other skin conditions. Dr. Hogan received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation. She then completed an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery-accredited cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery fellowship at SkinCare Physicians in Boston—the longest established program of its kind in the nation, with clinical faculty from the dermatology departments at Harvard, Yale and Brown. She also earned her Master of Health Science degree in Health Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Hogan has been invited to present at national professional conferences, has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, and has co-authored several chapters in dermatologic textbooks, including Advances in Cosmetic Surgery, Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery, and Moschella & Hurley's Dermatology. She has worked as both a sub-investigator and principal investigator in over 10 clinical research trials for new minimally-invasive cosmetic treatments and laser devices. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Hogan is a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and is excited to train the next generation of dermatologists. Dr. Hogan is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and serves on national committees for each of these organizations. Benjamin J. Ansell, MD, received a dual undergraduate degree with distinction in Biology and as a College Scholar in Music from Cornell University, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. He subsequently performed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Ansell currently serves as Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in the Divisions of General Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is also Director of the Comprehensive Health Program, Co-Director of Cholesterol, Hypertension, and Atherosclerosis Management Program (CHAMP) and the Medical Hospitality Program at UCLA. Dr. Ansell is a member of the American Heart Association Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis, and Vascular Biology, and certified by the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Clinical Lipidology.
