Connections Academy is a tuition-free online public school for grades K12. In this virtual classroom, students can spend the school year reaching their highest potential through a uniquely individualized learning program.

One challenge with earning a high school diploma online is finding a legitimate, accredited program. Some online high schools are 'diploma mills' which take a fee, but award a diploma that is not recognized by employers or colleges.

The most recognized and accepted type of accreditation in the United States is regional accreditation. Generally, college credits or degrees received at a regionally accredited institution are accepted by other regionally accredited colleges or universities (non-regionally accredited programs are not as accepted)
