ABOUT LATITUDE Latitude Mental Health is a mental health practice dedicated to achieving wellness. Latitude was founded by Board Certified Psychiatrist Armin Hoes, MD., to change the way mental health care is delivered by integrating medicine, therapy, and coaching into one practice. Our offices are conveniently located in the heart of West LA near Century City Mall in sunny Los Angeles, California. We offer a variety of services all of which are provided with a single goal in mind - to help you become the best version of yourself. Through our prescription management service, we provide expertise in finding the most effective medicine(s) for reducing problematic symptoms to improve quality of life. We work to create a treatment strategy that includes not only the most beneficial choice of medicine but also the ideal dose, frequency, and timing of treatment to restore maximum functioning while minimizing side effects. Please review my article on tips for successfully introducing psychiatric medicines to the body. We also provide personalized individual psychotherapy using evidenced-based treatment models. Through our therapy programs you will establish a traditional client-therapist relationship that includes various forms of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, and Exposure Therapy. These programs relieve depression and anxiety symptoms through cognitive restructuring, mindfulness and behavioral modification interventions. As a supplement to our medical and therapy services we also provide wellness coaching. Wellness coaching is an alternative to therapy that provides a future oriented pathway to enhancing performance in areas of physical, emotional and cognitive well being as well as social and professional aspirations. Coaches partner with you to identify areas for improvement and set meaningful, realistic goals in order to establish the most reliable path forward to success. Wellness coaching is transformative and can enhance the strengths and skills learned in psychotherapy. We get started by having you complete membership forms and a comprehensive mental health screening evaluation. After these initial steps have been completed we will confirm the appointment date/time for your initial consultation. Initial consultations are 60-minute office visits during which we discuss the results of your mental health screening, identify the initial treatment plan and layout a roadmap for success. Thank you for choosing Latitude Mental Health. Please visit our membership services page to learn more!

Los Angeles Wellness Institute (LAWI), located in Century City, California, is a one-of-a-kind comprehensive wellness center that brings together both western and natural medicine for maximum benefits and the best possible patient outcomes. Co-founded by Michael Billauer, DC, and Marci Reiss, DSW, LCSW, the Los Angeles Wellness Institute was designed to address the areas of health and wellness that are often hardest to treat, including pain, depression and anxiety, concussion, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), nutrition, and weight management. Dr. Billauer and Dr. Reiss believe that there is tremendous value to be gained from combining western and natural medicine in the care of patients. They evaluate each patient to identify their unique challenges to health and wellness and create individualized treatment approaches to optimize their well-being. Patients facing acute or chronic illness, pain, or other challenging physical or mental health conditions need help to get well. Generally, they have two options: they can choose western medicine, or they can use more natural approaches. Unfortunately, those two approaches rarely intersect. LAWI believes that there is value to both approaches and it is the combination of the two that truly achieves health and wellness. They combine thorough diagnostics to identify the root causes of symptoms with both traditional and alternative treatments, custom-selected for each individual patient. LAWI is currently welcoming new patients. Appointments are available by calling the office or scheduling online.
