Los Angeles TMJ Treatment and Relief Dr. David Alpan earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of the Pacific (UOP) School of Dentistry in San Francisco and became licensed to practice dentistry in California and Nevada in 1996. After completing the orthodontic training program at UOP in 1998, he received the Orthodontic Specialty certificate. Dr. David Alpan was awarded the Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree for the masters' thesis he wrote on the results of the two-year TMJ research project he did during his orthodontic specialty training. Here is his Curriculum Vitae. Dr. David Alpan founded Aesthetic Orthodontics in Los Angeles in 1998; Beverly Hills and Las Vegas in 1999. Every year he and all the members of his team take continuing education courses to keep current with the most modern orthodontic treatment and TMJ treatment methods. Dr. David Alpan became certified as an invisalign provider in 1999. Align Technology hired him in 2001 to teach orthodontists and general dentists to become certified invisalign providers. Since then he taught over 6,000 dentists how to use invisalign. He has treated over 1,000 patients with invisalign as of March 2009. Align Technology asked Dr. David Alpan to lead invisalign study clubs in Los Angeles and Orange County since 2003 to help general dentists feel more comfortable about using the invisalign system after their two day seminar. Align also invited Dr. David Alpan to train their sales force. He was also a consultant and an integral part of the clinical education department for Align Technology. Dr. David Alpan was certified as a LingualCare iBraces provider in 2001. He was certified as a Damon System Braces provider in 2004. Dr. Braddock has been a national leader in medical education, particularly in bioethics. He launched the Bioethics Education Project at University of Washington, an initiative to expand ethics and professionalism education, and the Practice of Medicine program at Stanford, a curriculum that integrated ethics, professionalism, doctor-patient communication and population health into the pre-clerkship medical school curriculum. He also led the development of a model curriculum in bioethics and medical humanities with the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, and was a founding member of the Academy for Professionalism in Health Care. Dr. Braddock's research has focused on shared decision-making and patient-physician communication, having developed a widely used framework for teaching and for evaluation of the quality of shared decision-making in practice. Coming from a family of physicians, it was natural for him to pursue medicine, graduating from the UCLA-Drew Medical Education Program. He then pursued a Masters degree in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology while teaching UCLA medical students. Dr. Cader went on to specialize in Internal Medicine at the UCLA/San Fernando Valley Program. He trained in Primary Care-Internal Medicine which gave him greater exposure to Alternative Medicine, Adolescent Health, Geriatrics, Men's Health, Sports Medicine, and Women's Health, in addition to care for medically complex conditions. He joined the UCLA faculty while serving as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine and now holds the rank of Professor of Clinical Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Cader enjoys taking care of all of his patient care needs from simple sprains to treatment of disorders such as hypertension, CHF, pneumonia, and diabetes as well as complex medical diseases.
