Dr. Arikian is a Los Angeles native who attended UCLA as an undergraduate and received her B.S. degrees in Biology with an emphasis on Ecology, Behavior and Evolution. She attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She returned to Southern California to complete her residency at Harbor-UCLA Family Medicine. After residency she did a one-year Chief Residency and Fellowship in Faculty Development. She also completed a special project looking at patient attitudes towards alternative medicine. After training, she took a full-time clinical position at the non-profit Venice Family Clinic, the largest free clinic in the U.S. There she saw primarily uninsured and disadvantaged families, including homeless patients. She eventually became director of the VFC satellite clinic in the Mar Vista Gardens Housing Project, which was later relocated and named the Colen Family Health Center. After 11 years at VFC, she began working at University Health Center in January of 2011. She sees patients of all ages, and enjoys practicing the entire breadth of outpatient family medicine. Her primary goal in treating patients is to give them the tools to stay healthy and prevent complications from chronic disease. Dr. Arikian is married to a neurologist physician and has four young children. She enjoys work, family, travel and the outdoors. On her off days she volunteers at her children's school and practices yoga.

Ripu Arora, MD, MBA, is a board-certified pain management anesthesiologist providing exceptional care for people living in Torrance, California, at Arora Pain Clinic. Dr Arora has been living in the South Bay area for 30 years and has raised two children with his dear wife Sheila Arora, who works as Physician Assistant in his clinic. Dr Aroras practice focuses on Interventional Pain Management, Regenerative Medicine. He specializes in identifying pain triggering mechanisms and targets the treatment towards it for best outcomes. He provides a multidisciplinary approach to help patients address their needs on physical and socio-psychological levels. Dr. Arora studied for his medical degree in India before moving to England to undergo orthopedic and surgical training at hospitals in London and Manchester. He then came to the United States for further training in surgery in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Arora followed this with a residency in anesthesiology through Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2009, he graduated with honors, Beta Gamma Sigma, from the University of Irvine, California with a master of business administration (MBA) in health care. Dr. Arora is on staff at Providence Hospital and Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Torrance and was Chief of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the Pacifica Community Hospital in Huntington Beach, California. In addition, he has been very active in his national society as a life member of American Society of Interventional Pain physicians (ASIPP). He serves on the board of directors of California Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (CalSIPP). He attends several professional meetings to update his knowledge and skills, and constantly strives to learn about the latest procedures to help his patients. He also has been serving on the Board of Directors for Illumination Foundation , a non profit organization which helps end the cycle of homelessness in OC and LA county. He enjoys sports activities like golfing, skiing, scuba diving and flying. He is a proud grandpa and loves to travel with family and friends.
