Dr. Boris Mardian, OD, has over 20 years of professional experience in general and pediatric optometry. He sees patients at his private practice, Broadway Family Optometry, located in Glendale, California.  Dr. Mardian's passion for optometry began at a very early age. When he was very young, he suffered from lazy eyes and had eye surgery. Consequently, he became deeply passionate about the study of the eyes, which led to a career focused on helping his patients improve their ocular health and achieve optimum vision. Dr. Mardian spent the first ten years of his career expanding his knowledge of general optometry, which included contact lens fitting and ocular disease treatment. He spent the next ten years of his career at Facey Medical Group working alongside the pediatric ophthalmologist, practicing both general and pediatric optometry. Dr. Mardian has also worked and been involved in many local schools and community health clinics, where he's worked with low-income families. Working in these organizations has allowed Dr. Mardian to develop a deep sense of connection and compassion for the local communities he serves. Dr. Mardian also serves as a sub-investigator for a global clinical research organization and biopharmaceutical company, assessing ocular side effects and ensuring subject safety.
