James H. Lee, MD, FAAP is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. After completing his undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, he received his medical degree from Michigan State University and completed his pediatrics residency training at UCLA. After residency, Dr. Lee was recruited to stay on as faculty at UCLA. In addition to his clinical responsibilities as a general pediatrician, he has leadership roles in medical education. He serves as the Associate Program Director, Continuity Clinic Director, and Resident Advisor for the Pediatrics Residency Training Program. In regards to the medical students at DGSOM, he is the Director of the Preclinical Student Pediatric Clinical Skills Course, the Pediatrics Clerkship Site Director, and a faculty advisor for the medical students interested in pursuing Pediatrics or Primary Care as a field. Dr. Lee is a faculty sponsor for the Pediatrics Interest Group and works with the group to educate the field of Pediatrics to medical students and to help create mentorship opportunities between motivated students and pediatric residents.
