The blinking opener lights indicate that the safety sensors are likely blocked or out of alignment. Defective safety sensors or faulty sensor wiring also cause the opener lights to blink 10 times. The sensors won't allow the door to close with their infrared beam blocked.

When the LiftMaster wall station is locked you will notice a blinking green light in the center of the large white push button.
