Dollar Driving School was founded in 1980, but was incorporated in February 2008. The School started in Los Angeles at 6th and Western in 1980. by 1982 it moved to Van Nuys. A few years later it moved again, this time to Panorama City finishing off the 80 s. In 1990 it moved once again due to expanding needs, ending up in Northridge on Reseda blvd. Prior to the 94 earthquake it had grown to be the largest Driving School in the San Fernando valley, operating 16 cars in the LA basin, and three classroom branches, one in Malibu and also one in Westwood. Through the nineties Dollar driving school began to change and evolve focusing on being ever more a quality leader. Dollar won many Safety awards through the years as it s focus changed. Through the years it has become known as one of the leaders and most professional schools in California. It has lead the way by example and setting standards to be followed and copied. It was the first driving school to use a Toyota Supra in the 80 s. It was the first school to adopt a grading system for daily driving reports. It was the first school to offer a grading card for parents. It was the first school to open up in Malibu California. In 1995 it was the first school to use Ford Mustangs to teach in. In 1996 Robert Stahl became the first Driving school instructor licensed by the DMV as an examiner in State history. In 2000 it went to Mustang convertibles. In 2000 It started the club 100 honoring students receiving 100 on a drive test, with prizes. In 2003 it became the first school to teach with a convertible BMW 325CI. In 2012 it was the first school to use a BMW hardtop convertible 328i It is the first school in California and possibly in the USA to start using the New Dodge Dart 2013 The President and sole owner of Dollar Driving School Robert J. Stahl involved himself with the Driving School Association in the late 80 s, dedicating himself to improving driver safety State wide. He rose through the ranks of the Board holding almost every position until becoming the President in 1996-97. Presently he is the President of the Driving School Association of California and the longest serving President in it s history. He has been involved with changing and making California roads safer since 1980, either as an instructor or an administrator, constantly looking ahead and battling to make our driving experience safer and better.

Phillip Lim, DO, MPH, has been on the cutting-edge of interventional pain medicine from the start of his career, often being one of the first to pioneer new treatments. At NuVation Pain Group with two office locations in Southern California in Buena Park and Downtown Los Angeles, he focuses on individualized care and offering multimodal treatments customized for each patient. Dr. Lim was fortunate to train at the premier interventional pain fellowship at Harvard Medical Schools Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Prior to this fellowship training, Dr. Lim received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona and a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Loma Linda University. After completing a traditional internship at Downey Regional Medical Center in Downey, California, Dr. Lim finished an anesthesiology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan. During his residency, he had the opportunity to perform multiple interventional pain procedures as a rotating resident in the anesthesia pain department. For six years, Dr. Lim had the honor of treating American service men and women at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, where he was chief medical director. While there, he helped build the premier Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center for the Army, which is the basis for all the military branchs pain programs. Dr. Lim is double board-certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology and maintains active membership in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
