For instance, consuming bland foods and drinks in small portions should reduce stomach upset, and over-the-counter antidiarrheal medicines can stop diarrhea quickly if you need an urgent fix. Also remember to re-hydrate, since diarrhea can severely rob your body of fluids.
A) Eat liquid food and small portions. One of the best things you can do to make your diarrhea go away quickly is to avoid stressing your digestive system more than necessary. At the onset of a diarrhea bout, liquid foods are generally better than solid foods. Regardless of what you choose to eat, though, you should consume it in small amounts.

Fresh mint can also settle a stomach, soothe cramps and irritated intestinal muscles, and put a stop to diarrhea. Steep a few springs in 8 oz (250 ml) of hot water for a few minutes and drink while resting.
