Dr. Kiran Mitha is a board-certified general pediatrician in the Division of General Pediatrics at UCLA. She helps train residents and medical students to care for children at UCLA's Children's Health Center in Westwood and supervises in the pediatric urgent care and resident continuity clinic. Dr. Mitha attended medical school at the UC San Diego School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at UCLA. She pursued a fellowship in community medicine at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mitha's passion is caring for vulnerable communities around the globe. She spent a year working as a visiting pediatric lecturer at the Gulu University Faculty of Medicine in rural Uganda, teaching medical students in a busy pediatric hospital. She leads UCLA's global health partnership with Hospital Regional de Loreto in the Amazon region of Peru and continues to work in East Africa to help build capacity in medical education. She is Co-Director of the Global Health Track in the Department of Pediatrics and a Partner Lead for the Global Health Program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Lehman earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and her infectious diseases fellowship at both UCLA and UCSF where she researched maternal fetal transmission of human immunodeficiency virus. Prior to joining the division of pediatric infectious diseases at UCLA, Dr. Lehman was the associate clinical director of pediatric infectious diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the clerkship site director for pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine. Her interest and passion for medical education brought her back to UCLA to assume the role of assistant dean for student affairs, pediatric clerkship chair and associate vice chair of education in the department of pediatrics. In addition to her roles in the medical school, Dr. Lehman along with her therapy dog Hamilton is a volunteer with UCLA's People Animal Connection at Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Mattel Children's Hospital.

Kevin Lance Jones, OMD, LAc, offers holistic care that incorporates acupuncture, nutritional management, herbal medicine, Qigong, and therapeutic exercises at his private practice in Torrance, California. Dr. Jones completed his medical education at California Acupuncture College, where he graduated as valedictorian. He then went on to study at the famous Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, where he was the class representative and key speaker at graduation. As a post-graduate, Dr. Jones continued studying at the Beijing Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he received training from the most renowned practitioners in the field. He then relocated to Lyon, France, where he was honored to study with the father of auriculotherapy, Dr. Paul Nogier. To this day, he still uses the methods he learned from Dr. Nogier. To round out his extensive training, Dr. Jones studied with the well-known Dr. Wu Wei-ping in Taipei, Taiwan. He maintains active membership in the National Guild of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and has received numerous honors and awards, including the Gold Award for Research from the American Chinese Medical Association and a Certificate of Commendation from the China Acupuncture Association. Dr. Jones is married and has two children who lived with him in Beijing. His wife graduated from the renowned Beijing University of Foreign Studies with a bachelors degree in English translation. He spends his free time volunteering at his church, Eckankar, and going on day trips with his family to the many interesting places in Southern California. As an enamored student of foreign languages, Dr. Jones speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and conversational Spanish.
