Lindsey Ross, MD, is a neurosurgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the West Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, and Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, California.  Dr. Ross received a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from Stanford University and a Doctor of Medicine from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Throughout her career, she has been committed to serving disadvantaged populations, mentoring underrepresented students, and working towards policy change to address the health needs of the most impoverished and underserved communities. She was tapped to serve as a White House Fellow for the Obama Administration in 2016. In this position, she served as a Science and Health Policy Counselor for the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Her portfolio included managing the U.S. Zika response plan, where she worked closely with the Centers for Disease Control, Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response (ASPR), and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) to protect and treat U.S. citizens.
