Use foaming face wash to wash the face and use a water-based moisturizer. You can use moisturizing sunscreen during the day and if your skin is still oily you may require a Vitamin A supplement but this has to be taken under supervision.

Keep it. Exposure to light and air breaks down many active ingredients, including vitamin C and retinol, making them inert. Also, store these products in a cool, dark place to help maintain their efficacy.
