How do you determine pregnancy conception date?

Gestational age, or the age of the baby, is calculated from the first day of the mother's last menstrual period. Since the exact date of conception is almost never known, the first day of the last menstrual period is used to measure how old thebaby is. Yes, a conception calculator can be wrong. Ultrasounds can also be wrong ascan home pregnancy tests. There is no perfect system for estimating conception date unless intercourse happened only once between menstrual cycles.
